Antonis Vasiliou is a Director at Baker Tilly, heading the Consulting & Business Advisory Services of the firm, based at the Nicosia office. He joined the firm in 2013.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants since 2001 and member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers since 2006. He also holds a Bachelors degree in Financial Services from the University of Manchester. Locally, he is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).
While being in position at Baker Tilly in Cyprus, Antonis was in the lead for substantial number of business valuations, large scale debt restructurings, businesses organisational restructurings and together with associate consultants he took part in setting up the Arrears Management departments in two of the major banks on the island.
Antonis started his professional career with Laiki Bank in 1997 and until 2012 he left the bank as the Head of Customer Management Services department specialised in large corporate customers of the bank. In 2012 he joined USB Bank Plc for one year with the target to set up the newly formed Non Performing Loans department.
Since 2004 and up today, Antonis specialises in the delivery of professional seminars and workshops in the fields of Management Accounting, Performance Management and Working Capital Management and he is also a freelance lecturer for ACCA papers.
